The Maxima Junior Orquidea padel racket is designed for young players, featuring a durable bi-directional glass and carbon tubular frame with a fiberglass-reinforced core. It includes a 38mm FLEXCORE EVA core with low hardness, laminated with plain-weave fiberglass, coated in titanium dioxide, and treated with VAR-FLEX epoxy resin for elasticity and strength. Its round (LW) shape offers maximum control, a low balance, and an extended sweet spot, ideal for backcourt play. The Summum handle, part of the PREMIUM range, is longer for enhanced comfort and two-handed shots. The racket uses ADAPTED & GRADUAL HOLES technology with varying hole sizes for consistent hits, and the Handlesafety system secures the string through both handle walls, improving safety and wrist comfort.
Materials
The Maxima Junior Orquidea is crafted with a bi- directional glass and carbon tubular structure, reinforced with fiberglass in the core for added durability. The 38mm FLEXCORE EVA core, featuring a low hardness, is laminated with plain-weave fiberglass and coated with a layer of titanium dioxide. Additionally, the entire racket is impregnated with Varlion’s exclusive VAR-FLEX epoxy resin, ensuring exceptional elasticity and strength.
Shape
The racket is designed with a round or LW (Lethal Weapon) shape, optimized for maximum control. Its low balance and extended sweet spot help young players manage increased ball volume, particularly when playing from the back of the court. Summum Handle The Maxima Junior Orquidea incorporates a longer handle, a hallmark of the PREMIUM range. This feature enhances comfort and control, making it easier for younger players to execute both forehand and backhand shots with two hands.
Adapted & Gradual Holes
The racket utilizes ADAPTED & GRADUAL HOLES technology, which features strategically sized holes. Larger holes are placed toward the outer edges of the hitting surface, while smaller holes are concentrated in the center. This design promotes a more uniform and consistent hit across the entire surface.
Handlesafety Technology
Handlesafety is an innovative safety system designed to prevent the separation of the string from the racket handle. Traditional designs, where the string exits through a central hole in the handle, may sometimes fail, risking detachment during play. The Handlesafety system ensures the string passes through both walls of the handle, preventing separation and offering additional wrist comfort.
