Varlion padel racket of professional level with a round shape that privileges control over power.
It’s made of a bidirectional carbon tube. Its core is made of 38mm Eva Hypersoft rubber of medium hardness, and it is laminated by layers of carbon and fiberglass fabric. The heart area is also reinforced with carbon fiber fabrics impregnated with Varlion's exclusive VAR-FLEX epoxy resin to obtain maximum elasticity and resistance and covered by a layer of titanium dioxide.
It’s the successor to the legendary LW Carbon 3 and LW Carbon 5, but with technological improvements in its materials, design and performance. One of the most important is the incorporation of Prisma frame,, which provides greater acceleration and speed of movements thanks to its aerodynamic design.
It includes as standard the adhesive Prisma bumper, which is designed and produced through an injection mold in low-hardness PTU to absorb shocks and scratches. This bumper is fixed on the frame of the racket through an adhesive, which also helps to avoid vibrations.
We have also applied the Slice technology (rough texture) to the hitting surface through a direct 3D screen printing system, to help the player apply effects on the ball more effectively.
And finally, it is worth highlighting the Handlesafety technology, a new safety system for the handle. Normally, in all rackets the rope comes out from a centered hole which is attached to the handle frame by means of a pin, rivets, nails, etc. However, with this system, the rope goes through the two walls of the handle and comes out on both sides of the tip, thus giving 100% safety and comfort to the grip.
Lethal Weapon, Hexagon frame and Adhesive Bumper are Utility and Industrial brands and models registered with the Spanish Patent and Trademark Office, and therefore the exclusive property and use of Varlion.
HEXAGON FRAME
Hexagonal frame whose shape provides greater rigidity and resistance to the racket, thanks to the creation of a rib in the frame, which has a straight part (edge) and a chamfered part (chamfer).
SLICE TECHNOLOGY
Rough texture for the racket surface. As its name suggests, it is specially designed for backhand or drive shots with slice or cuts.
In its design, a series of curved lines have been arranged for right-handed players, which are duplicated in the opposite direction for left-handed players, so that the lines hook the ball and increase its effect.
When compared to a tennis racket, the hook is even greater, since the strings of the racket are straight and horizontal in the shape of a cross generating a square. But in tue case of Slice technology, lines are designed with a curved shape, since the surface of the ball that is in contact with such lines is much larger.
Technology patented and registered in the Spanish Patent and Trademark Office extensible to other countries.
HEXAFORCE
Reinforcement or bridge designed and built to reinforce the heart and stiffness of the racket frame.
7 RHOMBUS CARBON FABRIC
12K carbon fiber fabric in a rhomboid shape, to a greater flexibility in the core.
HEXAGON BUMPER
Adhesive bumper designed exclusively for models with Hexagon frame. In its previous version, this it weighed 21gr. However, thanks to the design it has been possible to reduce its weight by half, and it only weights 10gr.
It has been designed and produced through an injection mold in a low hardness PTU to absorb shocks and chafing.
It is fixed on the racket frame by means of an adhesive material without the need to drill into the frame and thus avoiding having to weaken it for its fixing. Consequently, possible vibrations of the bumper are eliminated and we achieve a total twinning between the racket frame and the lower surface of the bumper.
Technology patented and registered in the Spanish Patent and Trademark Office extensible to other countries.
ADAPTED & GRADUAL HOLES
Gradual drilling technology adapted to the racket shape. It consists of using 3 different hole sizes, making them smaller in the central area (10 mm in diameter), medium in the middle area until we get close to the frame (11.5 mm) and large in the perimeter area or closest to the frame (13 mm). With this perforation we are able to compensate the excessive flexibility of the center of the racket with the low flexibility of the area of the core that joins the frame, thus allowing greater homogeneity to blows and increasing the resistance of the core.
This drilling technology has also been used with 2 diameters instead of 3 (13mm in the perimeter area and 11.5mm in the central area) in ranges of rackets not used by professional players as they turn out to be softer due to the fact that the drill in the central area it is 11.5mm instead of 10mm.
HYPERSOFT
Soft foam core with spectacular measures of hardness and rebound, which gives a very balanced control and power to the racket, to play at low temperatures or up to 25ºC.
